So it’s official! The Cooper family have started getting ready for Christmas! Our Christmas diary is already nearly filled with the most amazing activities in the North East. It is great that there are now so many choices to make the festive season one full of fantastic memories for all the family. One of these events happens to be a magical and enchanted Christmas adventure which is sure to delight all ages. The experience is called ‘Believe’ and it will be based at Hardwick Hall hotel from the 7th to the 23rd December (mainly weekends) see their gorgeously festive website for all the info ( if it doesn’t get you all excited for Christmas I don’t know what will!) The website is perfectly designed to give you all the information you need and how the day works, it looks truly like you are taking a trip to another world!
So when you come along you are given a Christmas themed group to join (igloo’s/ rudolph’s/huskie’s etc) and an elf guide leads you through lots of different activities including Elf school, an exciting craft activity, a magic circle sing-a-long, a visit to the elves toy workshop, letter writing at the North Pole post office, a visit to see Jack frost, stories with the merry elf, a mini pantomime, a walk through an enchanted wood and a meeting with Santa’s ‘real’ reindeer. This is not the entire list activities on offer believe it or not (!) There will also be Bavarian Christmas street food to be enjoyed, and hot chocolates served at the Apres ski lodge. A Christmas shop will also be there where you can pick up some seasonal gifts, or just a lasting souvenir from the day. Father Christmas is of course on hand to meet the children in his stunning Laplandish Tipi as well as giving gifts. The great thing about the pre-booking element is that Santa will know about the individual child as if by magic! All about the little personal touches.
The production looks absolutely first class from what I have already previewed, and it is lovely to try something different each year I think to really create those special memories. After speaking with Elf Sparkle on the phone this week, (direct from the North Pole obviously…well she was in fact on loud speaker in the car and the children’s faces were priceless!) I am more than sure that Believe is sure to delight its audiences and we are really looking forward to joining them in early December! I mean…you’re never too old for Christmas fun are you?! Tickets are £30.50 per child, £28.50 per adult, toddlers are £18 and babies free. The event runs all day (outside and inside locations) and visitors can find all the information on their website.
