Halloween events in the North East for kids 2019!

Have started to think ahead for Autumn (now the summer is over *equally sobs and celebrates at the same time!)so have popped this list together including some ideas for Halloween for older kids (10+) as I find this the trickiest age to plan half terms activities for. There seem to be lots for littlies but can feel a bit babyish for the pre-teens/teens. So get planning your October half term schedule and join in with the Halloween fun!

Mother Shipton’s cave, Knaresborough (26/10-3/11)

Belsay Hall, Northumberland: Haunted Hall and ghost stories (10+)

A chance to explore the hall when its not usually open to the public, watch out for who might be waiting for you! There’s creepy crafts and fun for younger ones too!loads going on! For the lowdown click here:


Brockbushes Satanic Panic (12+) Corbridge, Northumberland

Back again for another year, Brockbushes is set to terrify you..if you dare! Booking is essential! Just pray you won’t bump into anything scary hidden around the farm! There are also pick your own pumpkin and pumpkin carving sessions for little ones too! For more click here:

Scream factory (14+) Kids Twilight Tour (all ages) Kirkleatham

Not for the faint-hearted is the infamous Scream Factory! Just clicking onto the website I was terrified!! Looks great fun if you really want a truly horrifying experience! There are family friendly tours too though! https://screamfactory.co.uk/
